Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her husband, William Wendell Smith. She is survived by a daughter, Lisa S. McEntire and husband David of Rutherford, NC, sisters, Linda S. Jenkins and husband Pat, Karen Gusler and husband Jerry, all of Monroe, 2 grandchildren, Jonathan and Rebekah McEntire, sister-in-law and husband, Frances and James Crump of Indian Trail and several nieces and nephews Memorials may be made to Hospice of Union County, 700 W.
