Dateline: Monroe, NC Brenda Kay “Click” Belk Stegall, 58, went to be with Jesus on Monday, December 10, 2012. She was born in Union County on March 15, 1954, daughter of the late Robert and Juanita Belk. She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Tabetha Stegall, who died September 13, 2001. Brenda was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. All who knew her loved her. She is remembered best for her quick wit, fun-loving ways and ability to make you laugh. She was a dedicated member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Monroe, NC, where she taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. She loved to spread joy with her handmade Christmas cards, and she was happiest when she was in her craft room “crafting”. Funeral services will be Thursday, December 13, 2012 at 2:00 PM in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, 2524 Stack Road, Monroe, NC 28112, with burial to follow in Lakeland Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 12, 2012 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Avenue, Monroe, NC 28112. Brenda is survived by her husband, Reece Stegall of Monroe; her brothers Ronnie Belk (Dianne) of Monroe and Dennis Belk (Vicki) of Myrtle Beach, SC; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Albert and Violet Stegall; other in-laws and loving nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Building Fund, 2524 Stack Road, Monroe, NC 28112.
