Brian Andrew Barker, 61, of Monroe, NC passed away Friday, July 21, 2023. He was born in Guyana on August 3, 1961, son to the late Carlton Bedlow and Margaret Barker. He is also preceded in death by his five brothers, Carton Bedlow, Oral Barker, Haslyn Barker, Prince Bedlow, and Leroy Bedlow.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, July 28, 2023 at Gordon Funeral Chapel, 1904 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112, with burial to follow in Lakeland Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Thursday, July 27, 2023 at Gordon Funeral Service.

Brian is survived by his wife Doris Allen Barker, three daughters Folake Atherly (Emillio), Felicia Barker, Feliona Barker, two sons Jermaine Allen (Erika), Shaun Allen (Marquita), sisters Ingrid Carter, Dawn France, Karen Bedlow, Shandell Grimes, two brothers Samuel Barker and Sherwin Barker, thirteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
