Calvin “Hoyle” Riggins, 94, of Charlotte, NC passed away on August 10, 2025. He was born in Union County, NC on December 31, 1930, son to the late Roy Lee Riggins and Alice Sneed Riggins. He is also preceded in death by the mother of his children Barbara Flowe Lustig as well as his late wife Barbara Oglesby Riggins, brothers, Roy W. “Bill” Riggins, Gary “Worth” Riggins, Keith Riggins, Kenneth Riggins, and sister, Hallie Hodgins.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, August 16, 2025, in the Chapel of Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave. Monroe, NC 28112. The family will receive friends following the service at Gordon Funeral Service.

Hoyle is survived by his son, William Mitchell Riggins (Karen), daughters, Carolyn “Sue” Harmon (Jim), Rhonda Cassell (Greg), Melinda Baniky, sister, Eunice Faulkenbury, eight grandchildren and sixteen grandchildren.
