Camden James Helms

Camden James Helms was born on Tuesday, May 11, 2021, at 6:25 a.m. to parents Lucas Gregory Helms and Victoria Shay Helms at the Atrium Health University City Hospital in Charlotte, North Carolina. This beautiful full term baby boy weighed 7 pounds, 10 ounces and was 20.5 inches long. Although there were complications prior to delivery, Camden was held by his mommy and daddy, was the recipient of hugs and kisses from close family, was present as his mommy and daddy sang him songs and told stories, and was told “I love you” countless times. An intimate graveside service will be held Monday, May 17, 2021 at Union Grove Primitive Baptist Church, Monroe North Carolina with a private reception following. Gordon Funeral Service of Monroe, North Carolina is assisting. Camden is survived by Luke and Victoria, as well as maternal grandparents Jeramy Rushing and Helene Tetreault and paternal grandparents Dennis Helms and Susan Cox Helms, paternal great-grandmother Katherine Cox and maternal great-grandmother Alice Tetreault and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends who have supported Luke and Victoria along the journey.
