Carmelita Maria Kelley 85 of Waxhaw, NC, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loving family on February 11, 2022. She was born in Paget, Bermuda on November 8, 1936. She was the daughter of the late Jose Maria Oviedo and Camille Bernice Viera, also of Bermuda. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Bruce Theodore Kelley as well as her son Christopher Mark Peede.

A private service will be held at a later date.

She is survived by six children, Theresa Shelley of Tennessee, Angela Tadlock of Virginia Beach, VA, Dorothy Anne Eutizi, husband Tommy, of Dunmore, PA, Deanna Page, husband Davy, of Virginia Beach, VA., Bruce T. Kelley, Jr., of Virginia Beach VA., and Kim Booth, husband Jeff Booth, of Waxhaw, NC. She was the beloved "Nanny" to 20 grandchildren, Denyse, Krystal, Nicole, John, Samantha, Matthew, Ashley, Christopher, Lyndsey, Karen, Katlyn, Domenique, Staci, Benjamin, Joshua, Blayne, Evan, Philip, Alexander and Lauren as well as, 21 great grandchildren. She was loved dearly by many nieces and nephews.

She was the life of the party who loved to dance and be surrounded by family. She was an amazing wife, mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed.
