Monroe, NC Carmella Rose Magliere Amorosa, “Carrie”, age 88, died Saturday, November 22, 2008 at her home in Monroe, NC after a lengthy illness. Born January 3, 1920 in Riccia Campobasso, Italy, she was a daughter of the late Guiseppe “Joe” and Louise Magliere. Formerly of Mount Union and Altoona, Pennsylvania, she was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, John Joseph Amorosa, brother, John Magliere and sister, Anna Alesi. Survivors include her daughter, Maria Teitleman, grandson, Alan Michael Teitleman, a brother, Michael S. Magliere, six nieces and ten great nieces and nephews.
