Carol Hiller Beatty, 78, passed away October 9, 2016. She was born in Leet Township, PA on July 19, 1938, daughter of the late Albert Henry and Alice Shoup Hiller. A memorial service will be held 3:00 PM, Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at Spirit of Joy Lutheran Church, 8600 Potter Rd, Weddington, NC 28104. A memorial service in Pittsburg, PA will be held at a later date. Carol is survived by her husband Robert James (Bob) Beatty of Monroe; two daughters, Monique Beatty of Burbank, CA (spouse: Tim Eldred) and Dawn Beatty of Monroe, and grandchildren Bennett Robert Batten, Landon Marshall Batten, and Genevieve Eldred.
