Carolyn Mcdaniel (Britt) Bock

Carolyn McDaniel Bock, 70, of Monroe, passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2016. She was born December 5, 1946, in Robeson County, NC to the late Hilbert Kenneth and Katie Conner Britt. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Danny M. Britt and Hilton Cooter Britt; and step-son, Jack Alan Bock. Mrs. Bock is survived by her husband, Jack; son, William Andrew McDaniel and wife, Gidget, of Indian Trail; daughters, Denise Springs and husband, Phil, of Monroe, and Terrie McDaniel of Monroe; brothers, Hollis Britt of Lumberton, Buddy Britt of Lumberton, and Roger Britt of Monroe; sister, Shelby B. Faulk of Lumberton; step-sons, Tim Bock of Norfolk, VA and Phillip Bock of Monroe; step-daughters, Dianna Morgan of Suffolk, VA, and Jackie Bock, of Charlotte; sixteen grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. The family will visit with friends and relatives on Saturday, December 10, 2016, from 1:30 PM to 2:45 PM at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Avenue, Monroe, NC 28112. The service will follow at 3:00 PM in the Gordon Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in Lakeland Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Unionville Baptist Church, 510 Baucom Road, Monroe, NC 28110.
