Carolyn Oletta (Whiteside) Manus

Carolyn Whiteside Manus, 75, of Matthews went to be with her Lord and Savior on November 12, 2015. She was born in Kings Mountain, NC. She was born November 27, 1939 daughter to the late Floyd and Ethel Whiteside. She is also preceded in death by her husband of 54 years Robert Manus and a brother Wayne Whiteside. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, November 15, 2015 in Gordon Funeral Chapel, with burial to follow at Lakeland Memorial Park. The family will visit prior to the service from 2:00 PM until 2:45 PM. Mrs. Manus is survived by four children, Nancy Morse (Mike), Kathy Medlin (Neal), Brenda Manus, and Chris Manus, a sister Dixie Nash, five grandchildren : Scott Morse (Tiffany), Neal Medlin, Tim Morse, Jonathan Medlin, and Ashley Benton (Matt); six great-grandchildren: Landon, Anthony, Tylor, Riley, Brody, and Cole. She loved each of them dearly. Mrs. Manus was a wife, mother, homemaker, and grandmother. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
