Carolyn Couick Williams, 78, passed away Thursday, March 9, 2017. She was born in Union County, NC on May 28, 1938 daughter to the late Gideon and Carrie Couick. She is also preceded in death by two brothers; Clifton and Howard Couick, two sisters; Barbara Couick and Christine Williams. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 11, 2017 in Gordon Funeral Service Chapel. Burial will follow at Mill Creek Baptist Church, 5417 Morgan Mill Rd. Monroe, NC 28110. Carolyn is survived by a daughter, Jeannie Williams Jenkins of Monroe, a son; Tommy Williams and wife Brenda of Monroe, three sisters; Irene Guion of Matthews, Joyce Hedgepath of Polkton, and Margaret Hand of Hickory, brother; Bob Couick of Waxhaw, two grandchildren; John Jenkins and Carrie Jenkins, and a great granddaughter; Olivia Stewart. The family will be receiving friends prior to the service from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM at Gordon Funeral Service at 1904 Lancaster Avenue Monroe, NC 28112.
