Carrie Elizabeth “Libby” Pate Aldridge, 64, went home to be with Jesus Monday, December 22, 2014. She was born October 17, 1950 in Union County daughter of the late Henry Hampton and Helen Matheson Pate. Funeral services will be held 12:00 PM Saturday, December 27, 2014 at Gordon Funeral Chapel 1904 Lancaster Ave. Monroe NC 28112. Burial will follow at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will visit prior to the service starting at 10:30 AM until 11:45 AM at the funeral home. Libby is survived by her loving husband Eddie Aldridge, two daughters Lisa Barkman (Rob) of Monroe, and Renee Evans (Tim Ucciferri) of Lancaster, two brothers Bob Pate and Jim Pate both of Monroe, four sisters Joyce Guin, Ann Benton, Nancy Pate, and Kathy Pate all of Monroe, three grandchildren Alex Evans of Lancaster, Connor McCoy and Nate McCoy both of Monroe.
