Catherine Carter Austin, 91, passed away Sunday, March 13, 2022. She was born October 8, 1930, daughter of the late Robert Claude Carter and Betsy Ruth Starnes Carter. She is preceded in death by her brothers, Burdette Carter and Kenneth Carter.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00PM Saturday, March 19, 2022 at Bethlehem United Methodist Church Cemetery, 5300 Nesbit Road, Waxhaw, NC 28173.

Catherine is survived by her son, Jimmy Dwight Austin, Sr. (Gail); daughter, Claudia O’Donahue; five grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
