Catherine Welsh Robinson

Catherine Welsh Robinson, 91, of Waxhaw, NC passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2023.

She was born in Mecklenburg County on June 10, 1931, daughter of the late William Thomas Welsh and Gladys Croxton Welsh. She was also preceded in death by her husband William Tate Robinson, brother Bill Welsh and sister Janice Haynes.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, May 1, 2023, at Waxhaw City Cemetery, 111 Arbor Dr, Waxhaw, NC 28173. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112.

Catherine is survived by her two sons, Russell Robinson and Richard Robinson (Teresa), two daughters, Patricia Sain and Sylvia Biggers, brother, Robert "Bob" Welsh, seven grandchildren, Michelle Plyler (Ronald); Renee Montgomery; Jason Biggers (Jessica); Carrie Curlee (Barry); Nathan Biggers (Tiffany); Ashley Gibson (Danny Jr.); Katie Teter (Billy); and thirteen great-grandchildren.
