Charles "Tony" Baker Sr.

Charles “Tony” Baker Sr., 73, of Marshville, NC passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2024. He was born in Union County, NC on July 29, 1950, the son of the late Charles French Baker and Margaret Jenkins Baker. He is preceded in death by two daughters, Michelle Polk and Janice Baker and one grandson, Matt Baker.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, May 5, 2024, at Rocky River Baptist Church, 297 Rocky River Church Road, Polkton, NC 28135. The family will receive friends and family following the service.

He was a United States Army veteran and worked for Williams Supply Company as a crane operator for over 40 years.

Charles is survived by his son, Charles “Chuck” Baker Jr.; daughters; Tonya Laney and Tabatha Fulmer (David); sisters, Nita Arrwood and Rose Baker, six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
