Charles Ray Funderburk

Charles Ray Funderburk, 70, passed away Sunday, February 2, 2020. He was born April 21, 1949 in Union County, son of the late Joe & Ruth Baker Funderburk. He is also preceded in death by two brothers; David & Ralph Funderburk, and a sister Becky Funderburk. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, February 7, 2020 at Gordon Funeral Chapel, with burial to follow in Lakeland Memorial Park. Ray is survived by his loving wife, Donata H. Funderburk, a son Eddie Funderburk (Shannon), three daughters; Angela Gwyn, (Trey), Amy Funderburk, (Rusty), Jodie Dacy, (Nick) a brother Kenneth Funderburk, (Janet) two sisters; Doris Glenn, (Jerry) and Ann Trogden, (Tim), eight grandchildren; Tatum, Alden and Nathan Gwyn, Ethan and Aris Corbett, Brittany Sharp, (Tanner), Hailey Earp, (Zach), and Cody Earp, (Faith), and two great grandchildren; Jackie Sharp, and Zayne Donahue. The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 6, 2020 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave., Monroe NC, 28112.
