Charles Oscar Jr. Helms

Charles Oscar “Chuck” Helms, 58, passed away Sunday, December 3, 2017. He was born May 27, 1959 in Gaston County, NC, son to Mary Orr Helms, and the late Charles Oscar Helms, Sr. He is also preceded in death by a sister Rita Guy. A memorial service will be held 7:00 PM, Thursday, December 7, 2017 at Immanuel’s Church, 6010 Mill Grove Road, Indian Trail, NC 28079. The family will receive friends following the service from 8:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the church. Chuck is survived by his loving wife of 38 years Angel Rice Helms, two daughters, Christa Helms, husband Kevin Hatley, and Tiffany Hall, husband Tripp, all of Monroe, his mother Mary Orr Helms, a brother, Ronnie Helms, wife Terry, a sister, Cathy, and husband Bobby Mitchem, six grandchildren, Dillon Hall, Dalton Hall, Drake Hall, Hadley Keziah, Addison Helms, and Declan Hatley, and several nieces nephews.
