Charles Jerry Hill

Charles Jerry Hill, 83, passed away Saturday. August 14, 2021. He was born January 5, 1938 in Union County, NC son of the late Wriston Lee & Martha Strawn Hill. Jerry was an avid fisherman, and loved to cook. He was a member of Altan Presbyterian Church, and served many years, as a volunteer fireman with Mineral Springs Fire Department. Mr. Hill was a crafty person, always trying to perfect things. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am August 21, 2021 at Altan Presbyterian Church, with burial to follow at Lakeland Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 am until 10:45 am at the church. Jerry is survived by his loving wife Phyllis Glenn Hill, son Charles David Hill, wife Kim, of Belmont, daughter Lori Watkins, husband Rick of Monroe, a sister Judy Simpson and husband Keith of Monroe, and a granddaughter Leslie Putnam,and husband William of CA.
