Charles David Hinson, Sr., 66, died Monday, June 9, 2008. Mr. Hinson was born in Union County, NC December 22, 1941, son of the late Ray B. and Flossie Helms Hinson. He was an employee of Scott Aviation. Graveside funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 11, 2008 at 1:00 PM in Lakeland Memorial Park, Monroe, NC. Mr. Hinson is survived by his wife Frances Jane Hasty Hinson; son David Hinson and wife Tammy of Pageland, SC; daughter Tonya Hinson and husband Perry of Monroe, NC; brother Billy Ray Hinson of Monroe; sisters Louise Griffin of Stallings, NC, Kathy Phifer of Wingate, NC and Bernice Keziah of Monroe; grandchildren Kaila and Austin Hinson. The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 11, 2008 from 11:00 AM until 12:30 PM at Gordon Funeral Cremation Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC 28112 prior to the service.
