Charles Daniel Johnson

Mr. Charles Daniel Johnson 86, died December 14, 2003. A native of Stanly County, NC, he was born September 10, 1917, son of the late Charles Edward and Hattie Smith Johnson. He was retired from Springs Industries. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 PM in the Waxhaw United Methodist Church, with burial to follow in the Waxhaw Cemetery. Surviving are his wife Myrtle Lee Bryant Johnson. 2 daughters; Linda McCorkle of Monroe and Joyce Blythe of Waxhaw. Brother; Lyman Johnson of Norwood and 2 sisters; Dora Stogner of Norwood and Ora Belle Squires of Fayetteville, NC. Also 8 Grandchildren and 10 Great grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association 1820 E. Seventh St., Charlotte, NC 28204. The Family will greet visitors Tuesday from 1 until 2 PM at the Church.
