Charles Allen Richardson

Charles Allen Richardson, 64, passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2022 after a brief illness. Mr. Richardson was born in Mt. Gilead, NC, and was a son of the late Tom and Ruth (Rape) Richardson. He is also preceded in death by his brother, Tommy Richardson; nephew, Kenny Richardson; and niece, Melissa Bowman.

Charles loved his family, fishing, playing guitar, NASCAR, NHR racing and baseball. GO BRAVES!

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving sister, Wanda McManus of Waxhaw, NC; his nephews, Danny McManus and his wife, Jennifer of Monroe, NC ,Graham McManus and his wife, Ariel of Waxhaw, NC and Michael Bowman of Matthews, NC. He also leaves behind his niece, Charity Coleman and her husband, Jason of Pageland, SC; great-nephews Matthews Bowman, Alex McManus, J.J. Coleman and Jackson Coleman; great-nieces Madilyn Bowman and her husband, Josh, Sadie McManus and Jordyn Coleman; great-great-nephew, Jameson Cathey; sister-in-law, Nelda M. Richardson of Pageland, SC and best friend, Larry Schlagowsky.

The family will gather Sunday afternoon, June 5, 2022 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm at 9410 Providence Road South, Waxhaw, NC. At the family’s request, funeral services will be private.
