Charles Ray Stubbins, 85, passed away Saturday, November 2, 2014. He was born March 24, 1929 in Columbia, SC, son of the late Benjamin and Leila Estelle Lee Stubbins. Mr. Stubbins is survived by his wife, Eleanor Funk Stubbins; son, David Stubbins of Waxhaw; daughters, Carolyn Nolan and Amanda Helms, both of Monroe; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at 4:00 pm in Gordon Funeral Chapel. The family will visit with friends and relatives following the service from 5:00 - 7:00 PM.
