Anne Preslar Cathey, 66, of Monroe, NC passed away Monday, December 10, 2018. She was born in Union County on March 30, 1952, daughter to the late James Wilson (J.W.) Mills and Margaret McManus Mills Caudle. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Friday, December 14, 2018 at Lee Park Church, 2505 Morgan Mill Rd, Monroe, NC 28110. Burial will follow at Lakeland Memorial Park. Anne is survived by her loving husband Sheriff Eddie Cathey, two sons; Shannon Preslar, wife Sarah of Monroe and Chandler Cathey, wife Kailee of Monroe, two daughters; Andrea Helms, husband Mike, of Lancaster, Jacquelyn Adams, husband Jacob of Danville, VA, her step father Javis Caudle, a brother Dennis Mills of Monroe, five grandchildren; Sydnee Preslar, Emily Helms, Carson Helms, Hunter Helms, Logan Helms, two nephews Tate and Tyler Mills. The family will receive friends and family from 5:00pm until 7:00pm Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Lee Park Church, 2505 Morgan Mill Rd, Monroe, NC 28110.
