Charlotte Nadine Hartis Deese, 79, passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2017. She was born May 2, 1937 in Union County, NC daughter to the late Murray Oscar Rosa Griffin Hartis. She is also preceded in death by her husbands, Donald Lee Yandle John Thomas Deese, and a son Rodney Eric Yandle, four sisters; Thelma Medlin, Edna Mae Boatright, Fannie Hartis, and Lucille Williams, three brothers; Theron Hartis, Herman Hartis, and J.N. Hartis Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday March 4, 2017 at Gordon Funeral Chapel, 1904 Lancaster Ave. Monroe, NC 28112. The family will visit prior to the service from 1:00 PM- 1:45 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be 2:00 PM, Sunday March 5, 2017 in Lakeland Memorial Park. Charlotte Nadine is survived by a daughter Sherry Archie, and husband Cliff of Lancaster, SC, two sons Richard Lee Yandle, and wife Cathy, Dr. Myron Yandle, and wife Tonya of Morrisville, NC , three sisters; Elizabeth “Lib” Horne, Ercel Horton, and Barbara Whitley all of Monroe, nine grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.
