Dateline: Midland NC Charlotte Conder Thomas, 63, passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2014. Charlotte was born on May 16, 1950 to the late Boyce Herman and Melba Billingsley Conder. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Indian Trail. Charlotte is preceded in death in addition to her parents by her loving husband Jack Chalmers Thomas. Charlotte is survived by her two sons John Wayne Thomas, and Jack Chalmers Thomas Jr. both of Midland, NC. She is also survived by her brothers Wayne Conder of Hemby Bridge, and Keith Conder of Charlotte; and a grandson Jackson Tucker Thomas. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, March 15, 2014 at First Baptist Church of Indian Trail with a visitation beginning at 1:00 pm. A private burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Charlotte, NC. In lieu of flowers memorials may be to the First Baptist Church of Indian Trail, 2034 Van Buren Ave, Indian Trail, NC, 28079.
