Chloe Lane Deese

Chloe Lane Deese went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, August 8, 2023. Chloe was born on October 23, 2020, and is the precious daughter of Justin and Megan Deese and sister to Leighton and Rhett Deese. Chloe was welcomed into heaven with the biggest hugs from her Pawpaw Jimmy.

A funeral service to honor sweet Chloe will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, August 15, 2023, at Antioch Baptist Church, 6223 Love Mill Road, Monroe, NC 28110, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Monday, August 14, 2023, at Gordon Funeral Service and Crematory, 1904 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112.

To know Chloe was to love Chloe. She was the sweetest, funniest, most beautiful little girl who was full of sass and all things prissy. She loved dressing up, all the makeup, and loved to sing and dance, but she loved the outdoors, fishing, and riding in her daddy’s truck just as much. She really was the best of both worlds. She loved swimming and playing with her cousins but didn’t mind one bit letting you know when she was done with you, followed by the funniest little facial expressions. Her days were spent clinging to her Mama, but when Daddy got home, she was a total Daddy’s girl. She was Justin’s tiny shadow but wouldn’t let Megan get far from her sight. Chloe will be missed immensely; 2.5 years isn’t nearly long enough. Our hearts rest a little easier knowing she is in the presence of Jesus and being held and loved by her Pawpaw until we can kiss her sweet face again.

Chloe is preceded in death by her Pawpaw, Jimmy Deese; her great grandpa Jimmy Deese, Sr.; her great aunt Penny Kiker and baby cousin, Camden Helms.

Along with her parents, left to mourn such a tremendous loss is her Nana Yvette Deese, Grammy and PopPop Marcia and Tony D’Aprile; Grandfather Larry Neeley, Sr.; great-grandparents Douglas and Terry Kiker; great grandmother Isabell Deese; aunts and uncles Barry and Jessica Tucker, Joshua and Sarah Deese, Jordan and Cali Deese, Victoria and Luke Helms, Jordan and Ally Neeley, Larry Neeley, Jr., Cheri D’Aprile, Kelly D’Aprile and Keri D’Aprile; cousins, Kendall, Grace, Wyatt, Dallas, Jase, Mason, Georgia Grace, Easton, Emery, Whitten and Dawson and so many great aunts, uncles, cousins and friends that love sweet Chloe so much.

Fly high baby girl, we love you forever.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to Levine Children's Hospital, 1000 Blythe Blvd.
