Christy Lynn Roberts

Christy Lynn Roberts, 41, passed away Friday, July 14, 2017. She was born in Union County, NC January 8, 1976 daughter to Bennie Roberts and Janet Haigler Roberts. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandmother Thelma Haigler. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at Prospect United Methodist Church, 6020 Prospect Road, Monroe, NC 28112. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. In addition to her parents she is survived by two brothers, Steven Roberts, and Daniel Roberts both of Monroe, fiancée Mike Starnes of Monroe, paternal grandparents Bill Wanda Smith of Monroe, maternal grandfather Bobby Haigler, of Monroe, two nephews, Hunter Roberts, and Parker Roberts, a niece Anna Roberts all of Monroe. The family will receive friends family Monday, July 17, 2017 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Gordon Funeral Service Crematory, 1904 Lancaster Ave. Monroe, NC 28112.
