Clarence Thomas Mcmanus

Clarence Thomas McManus, 81, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, November 19, 2016. He was born in Union County, NC August 28, 1935 son to the late Thomas Adam Mary Helen Godfrey McManus. He is also preceded in death by his sister Doris M. Simpson. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, November 21, 2016 at Waxhaw Baptist Church, 8213 Old Waxhaw-Monroe Road, Waxhaw NC 28173. Burial will follow in church cemetery. The family will visit prior to the service from 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM in the fellowship hall. Clarence is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Bonnie Bigham McManus, his loving brother and sister in laws Thomas Ray and Joyce Bigham of Monroe, and niece Lisa Winkler of Winston Salem. He enjoyed being outside working in the yard with his flowers. Clarence had a huge heart and loved everyone he came into contact with. He loved his church, and had compassion to serve the Lord. He will be greatly missed by all that had the honor of knowing him. The family would like to express a special thank you to Scott Laney, Wendy Laney, and Karen Johnson for all the love, kindness, and compassion given to Clarence Bonnie for so many years.
