Claudia Rebecca Griffin Baucom, 64, passed away Friday, January 3, 2020. She was born in Union County on February 10,1955 to the late Claude and Cornelia Love Griffin. She was also preceded in death by her sisters;Martha Pritchard and Selma Haigler. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at Shiloh Advent Christian Church, 3601 Sikes Mill Road, Monroe, NC 28110. Burial to follow in the church cemetery. Claudia is survived by her husband Danny Lee Baucom, sons; Rile Baucom (Jennifer) and Daniel Baucom (Mary Beth) and daughter Melissa Polk (Kelly), sister Tonyia Tomberlin, grandchildren; Mason, Gracie, Dylan and Caitlyn Baucom, Waylon and Rosie June Baucom, Kristen, Emily and Nathan Polk. The family will receive friends and family from 6:00pm until 8:00pm Monday, January 6, 2020 at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112.
