Claudia Patricia Obeid MONROE - Claudia Patricia Obeid, 46, passed away August 2, 2013. She was born in Pereira Colombia, South America on May 6, 1967, 9:25 am, daughter of Hernando Sierra and Blanca Dolly Sanchez Sierra. She was employed as Office Manager by the Wally Moore State Farm Insurance Agency. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC 28112 and at other times at the family home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 8, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 725 Deese St., Monroe, NC 28112. Mrs. Obeid is survived by her parents, Hernando and Blanca Sanchez Sierra, of Jupiter, Florida, daughters, Soraya, Katya and Nadya Obeid, son, Adam Patrick Obeid all of Monroe, her husband, Maximo Alvado of Monroe, and sister, Adriana Dukakis and her husband John, of Boston, MA.
