Claudia Loueller Yarbrough

Dateline: Waxhaw, NC Mrs. Claudia McGuirt Yarbrough age 85, passed away on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at her daughter's home in Lancaster, SC; born in Mecklenburg County in 1936, she was the daughter of the late Claude Ezelle and Christine Watts McGuirt. Mrs. Yarbrough was a homemaker, and a member of Waxhaw Baptist Church. She was an avid golfer, having won many tournaments. Claudia and her late husband, John loved to travel. She loved being outdoors and enjoying the wildlife. Most importantly she enjoyed spending time with her friends, however her biggest love was her family, their two children and extended family. Survivors include her daughter; Linda Rousseau and husband Donald of Lancaster, SC; a son John Neal Yarbrough of Charlotte; two sisters Bertha Younts of Indian Trail and Laura Yow of Wingate. And number of nieces and nephews and dear friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband; John Ransom Yarbrough, sisters Lillie Aycoth, Frances McGuirt, and Sarah MuGuirt. Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Waxhaw City Cemetery with the Rev. Chris Whittaker officiating. The Family will greet friends following the service at the graveside.
