Cole Roberts

Cole Roberts, 26, died Friday, May 27, 2011 as a result of an automobile accident. Cole was born in Lumberton, NC April 24, 1985, son of Jeffrey Eugene and Melody Loughran Roberts. Cole was a graduate of Central Piedmont Community College and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed drag racing his custom built Ford Mustang Cobra and loved his dog Baby. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 30, 2011 at 2:00 PM in the Gordon Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Lakeland Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Sunday May 29, 2011 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC 28112. Cole is survived by his parents Jeff and Melody Roberts; brother Jared Roberts of Monroe; grand mother Marilyn Loughran; fiancé Kristin Wilson of Monroe. Cole was preceded in death by his grandparents Dennis and Lila Bell and Gordon Loughran.
