Courtney Dawn Chapman, 30, of Mt. Gilead, NC passed away on November 19, 2024. She was born in Mecklenburg County, NC, on August 5, 1994, daughter to Lori Gordon Chapman and the late Shannon Chapman. She is also preceded in death by her sister, Felicia Chapman and grandparents, Bobby and Linda Gordon.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

She had a smile that could light up the room, her sweet smile touched everyone’s heart that she came in contact with. Courtney will forever be loved and missed. She was a blessing to all who knew her.

Courtney is survived by her guardians, Allen and Pamela Sterling; brother, Michael Gordon; as well as her Uncle, Scotty Gordon.
