Craig Philip Hutcheson

Craig Philip Hutcheson, 58, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 27, 2023, surrounded by his family. He was born on November 25, 1964, in Akron, OH to Mr. Robert Philip Hutcheson and Mrs. Judy Ann Hutcheson. Craig is preceded in death by his brother-in-law Vince Saiz.

Craig lived most of his life in recent years in Key West, Florida. He dedicated his time to photographing and sharing the beauty and eccentricity of Key West. He was an active man, either outside bicycling, skateboarding or snorkeling, or having some other adventure. He was also a friend to the wildlife, from the iguanas to the pelicans. Craig was a loving and generous soul, a great friend, adoring father, and beloved brother and son.

Funeral services will be private.

Craig is survived by his parents; his daughter, Jill Yvette Hutcheson; step-son, Donald Jose Chevez (Adinay); sister Jill Saiz; brothers, Robert Alan Hutcheson, Bret Owen Hutcheson, Brian Douglas Hutcheson (Julie); nephews, Brandon Cercena, Aiden Hutcheson; niece, Vanessa Saiz and close partner, Brigida Moreno.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to Hospice of Union County, 700 W. Roosevelt Blvd., Monroe, NC 28110.
