Cynthia Hinson Mabe

Mrs. Cynthia “Cindy” Hinson Mabe, 69, of Monroe, NC passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2023. She was born in Union County on December 31, 1953, daughter of the late Brice Claxton Hinson and Alice Pauline Baucom Hinson. She is also preceded in death by her brothers, Brice Hinson, Jr. and James Noel Hinson.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00PM, Sunday, March 19, 2023 at Zion United Methodist Church, 1521 Old Fish Rd., Monroe, NC 28110. The family will receive friends following the service.

Cynthia is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, James Mabe, Jr., one daughter, Wendy Gills (David), her brother, Jerry Hinson (Georgia), brothers-in-law; Don Mabe (Betty) of Fort Mill, SC, Lynn Keeter (Sarah) of Clover, SC, four sisters; Carolyn Pope of Midland, Audrey Clontz (David), Eloise Purser (Rondal), Trina Tyson (Mike), two grandchildren; Dallas Medlin, Amber Burns and many nieces and nephews.
