Waxhaw, NC Daisy Rea Huey Howie, 81, passed away Monday, May 17, 2010. She was born on January 25, 1929 in Lancaster County, SC daughter of the late Will and Bessie Brown Huey. Funeral services will be held Sunday, May 23, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Howie is survived by her husband, Willie J. Howie, son, Charles Howie and wife Bobbie of Waxhaw, sister, Jessie Mae Heath of Charlotte, grandchildren, Deshon Howie and Charles Lee Howie, great grandchild, Cody Howie.
