Daniel Eugene Cline

Daniel “Danny” Eugene Cline, 75, of Monroe, NC passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2023. He was born in Bryson City, NC on April 25, 1948, the son of the late Percival Cline and Wanda Webb Cline. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Jack Cline.

Danny and Rita owned and operated the Western Sizzlin’ in Monroe, NC, and then acquired Quincy’s Restaurant, in Monroe, NC. Danny was a stubborn, hardheaded, loud gentleman who loved his Quincy’s family and patrons deeply and would do anything he could to help anyone. He will be greatly missed by his Quincy’s family and friends and all who knew him.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, October 30, 2023, in the Chapel of Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC 28112. The family will receive friends and family following the service.

Danny is survived by his son, Jonathan Cline; former wife, Rita Cline; brother, Rick Cline; sister, Linda Cline; three fur babies, Amos, Andy, and Ollie; and two grand-fur babies, Connor and Zoe.
