Daniel Augustus Mcinnis

Service update Daniel Augustus McInnis, 31, of Monroe, NC passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2020. He was born in Mecklenburg County on May 10, 1988. He is also preceded in death by his grandparents, Bill and Margaret McInnis and Millon Mangum. A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM, June 12, 2021, Central United Methodist Church Chapel, 801 S Hayne St, Monroe, NC 28112 Daniel enjoyed the outdoors, training his dogs, and spending time creating new dishes in the kitchen. He had a love for all animals and enjoyed serving the elderly. Daniel loved playing Hockey and attending Charlotte Checkers games, he would be the first to stand up and do the “Chicken Dance” with no one else around him would. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Daniel is survived by his parents, Douglas McInnis (Lori) and Susan Mangum McInnis (Dan); two brothers, Sam McInnis and Dylan McInnis; nephew, Tyler; grandmother, Sue Mangum; as well as special uncles, aunts and cousins and his loyal companion, Bandit.
