Daniel Henry Thom

Daniel Henry “Danny” Thom, 59, passed away Monday, July 24, 2023. He was born August 17, 1963 in Germantown, Wisconsin, son of the late Russell and Elizabeth Haling Thom.

Funeral services will be Saturday, July 29, 2023 at 3:00 PM in Benton Heights Presbyterian Church. Burial will follow in the Lucy Helms Cemetery. The family will visit with friends and relatives from 1:30 - 2:45 PM prior to the funeral service in the church sanctuary.

Danny is survived by his wife, Susanne Mical Thom; sons, Bradley and Kyle (Diana) Thom; daughter, Scarlet Thom; brothers, Wayne and Robbie (Cindy) Thom and sister, Julie Stanczyk (Bob).

Danny was the founder and co-owner of S&D Vending of Monroe, NC. When he wasn’t working, he was spending time with his family, often at his favorite place on Earth, Amelia Island, Florida. He was a man of God and even in his final days he made sure to share his faith and encourage others to believe in God, often telling others he was good-he was headed home!
