Wingate, NC Danny Eric Walters, 56, passed away Wednesday, November 17, 2010. He was born on December 5, 1953 in Union County, NC son of Margie Griffin Walters and the late Bradie Joel Walters. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 20, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Union Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Ronnie Collins and Dr. Earl Mac Griffin. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Danny is survived by his mother, Margie Griffin Walters of Wingate, brothers, Joel Michael Walters of Greensboro, Kenneth H. Walters of Statesville, sister, Patti W. Eatmon of Wingate, 8 nieces and nephews and 6 great nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC 28112.
