Darla Delisa Snipes

Darla Delisa Johnson Snipes, 55, passed away on Monday, February 14, 2022. She was born June 22, 1966, daughter to the late James H. and Helen Plyler Johnson. She is also preceded in death by her brother Chris Johnson.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, February 20, 2022 at Mount Zion Baptist Church 6907 Gus Eubanks Rd, Monroe, NC 28112. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

Darla loved her family, friends and church family. She had a courageous smile and brought laughter to all those that she came in contact with. She was an active member of Mount Zion Baptist Church.

She is survived by her loving son Brandon Snipes and wife Jennifer of Kershaw, brother Lane Johnson (Lisa) of Monroe, beloved nieces Cheyenne and Beth, step-daughter Sandie Paul and, grandchildren Kelsey and Chase Sistare, Katie Allen and Mason James Snipes soon to arrive.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Mount Zion Baptist Church at 6907 Gus Eubanks Rd, Monroe, NC 28112.
