Darlene Marie Bowman

Darlene Marie Hubert Bowman passed away August 11, 2021. She is the daughter of the late Alfred Hubert, Sr. and Agnes Good Hubert. She is in heaven now flying high with her mom, dad, sister Patricia, father-in-law Gerald Bowman and mother-in-law Ruth Bowman. A memorial service will be held for Darlene at 10:00AM Saturday, August 21, 2021 at The Monroe Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 700 E. Sunset Drive, Monroe, NC 28112. Bishop J.D. Causse will be officiating the service. Darlene was born October 28, 1958 at Mary Immaculate Hospital in Queens, NY. Her family moved to Bay Shore, Long Island where she graduated from Bay Shore High School in 1976. Darlene was an amazing wife, sister, aunt and friend. She never complained about anything or anybody. She was loved by many and had a way of making laugh and enjoy her company. She was an avid fan of country music and church music. She loved to collect dragon figurines and truly loved her dog, Rupert. Darlene loved watching Star Trek, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings and Star Wars. She also enjoyed reading, knitting and crochetry. Darlene was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She loved going to church and talking with all the members. She wanted you all to know she loved you very much. Darlene is survived by her loving husband of 13 years Robert J. Bowman. She is also survived by her siblings Robert Hubert (Cheryl), Kathryn Bjelde (Dan), Alfred Hubert, Jr. (Debby), Lynn Breitfelle (Steve); several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She also had four stepsons and several step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren. She was a beautiful woman with a big heart and a beautiful smile. She was loved by many and will be missed by all that knew her and her beauty and humor.
