Mr. Darrell “D” Marshall Carnes Jr. of Monroe, passed away Sunday, August 25, 2019. He was born in York, SC on June 19, 1977. The funeral service will be held at 2:00pm, Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at Gordon Funeral Chapel, burial to follow in Lakeland Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:30pm until 1:45pm at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112. “D” is survived by his devoted wife Melissa “Missy” Moore Carnes, son Chase Mahi Carnes, daughter, Marena Ann Carnes, his parents Darrell and Kathie Monroe Carnes, father and mother-in law, Jimmy and Jo Moore, special family friends, Mason Wise, Danielle Wise, Doug Wise and Michelle Wise.
