Dateline: Waxhaw, NC Darrell Thomas Presson, 60, passed away Saturday, April 6, 2013. He was born October 20, 1952 in Union County, son of the late Henry Thomas and Alta Cleek Presson. Mr. Presson is survived by daughters Sarah Dicks and husband John of Guys, TN, Cassandra Whitten and husband Rory of Little River, SC; brother, R. Curtis Presson and wife Frances of Matthews; sisters, Lura Ann Collins and husband Greer of Monroe, Delores Myers and husband Charles of Weddington, Phyllis Chapman and husband Barry of Waxhaw, Deborah Jenner and husband Ed of Independence, KY and Ruth Smith of Monroe; grandchildren, Lynora, Makalia, Aaron, Rory, Lacy and Lexi and many nieces and nephews. Private services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Union County, 700 W. Roosevelt Blvd., Monroe, NC 28110.
