Darrell Woodiwiss

Darrell Eugene Woodiwiss, 67, of Monroe, NC passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2025. He was born in Rockingham County, NC on June 24, 1958, son to the late Cora Lee Johnson. He is also preceded in death by two brothers.

The family will receive friends from 5:00PM until 7:00PM on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112. He will be laid to rest privately at Lakeland Memorial Park.

Darrell is survived by his loving wife of thirty-eight years, Eva Woodiwiss, three sons, Lorenzo Cruz (Anna), Dominic Cruz, Darrell Woodiwiss II (Stacy), one daughter Deva Woolford (Kevin), fourteen grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and two brothers.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial cards be brought to the visitation.
