David Randall Cook

David Randall Cook, 60, passed away Tuesday, December 28, 2021. He was born June 7, 1961, son of the late Ernest Donald Cook and Ruby Dollar Cook. He is also preceded in death by his son, Nathan Taylor Cook and brother, Rodney Donald Cook. The family will receive friends 2:00PM until 3:00PM Sunday, January 2, 2022 at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC 28112. David worked as a machinist and built tennis courts. He was an avid Duke fan and loved to travel, especially skiing trips. David is survived by his loving wife of thirty-eight years, Holly Cook; son, Zachary Randall Cook (Meghan) of Waxhaw; mother and father-in-law, John and Dot Vanderbeek; three grandchildren, Coleton Randall Cook, Laney Cook, and Paisley Cook.
