Mr. David Fairchild Cook Sr., 57, of Chesterfield, died August 18, 2002, in Union Regional Medical Center. A native of Charlotte, he was born August 31, 1944, son of the late Henry Egbert Cook Jr. and the late Alma Yvonne Jolly Cook. He was a veteran of the US Navy, and was an employee of Food-Lion Super Markets as a produce manager. Funeral services will be Wednesday August 21, 2002, at 11:00 am in the Indian Trail Presbyterian Church conducted by Rev. Jim Johns. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Charlotte. Surviving are3 Sons: David F. Cook, Jr. of San Francisco, Ca., Duane E. Cook of Indian Trail and Michael D. Cook of Monroe. 1 daughter Kelly Woodell of Charlotte. 2 brothers Brian B. Cook of Indian Trail and John D. Cook of Chesterfield. 1 sister; Yvonne Eudy of Wendell, NC, and 3 grandchildren.
