David Wendell Fleetwood

David Wendell Fleetwood, 67, of Monroe departed peacefully from this earth on June 16, 2019. David was born on January 9, 1952 in Thomasville, GA, to Leo and Flora Mae Brinson Fleetwood. He was preceded in death by a grandchild and two brothers; Johnny Leo Fleetwood and Billy Fleetwood. A service will be held at 8:30am, Saturday, June 22, 2019 at Indian River County Fair Grounds, 7955 58th Ave, Vero Beach, FL 32967. He retired from the United States Air Force, where he had over twenty-four years in service to his country. David spent nineteen years as Park Superintendent of Indian River County, in Florida. He was a longtime member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks Lodge # 2547, he was also an avid golfer. David is survived by his loving wife Vicki Chewning Fleetwood, three sons; Michael and Joe Fleetwood and Patrick Moore, two daughters; Casey Cicak and Amanda Harvey, three brothers; Larry, Albie and Ray Fleetwood, twelve grandchildren, one of which was his little buddy, Cadance Harvey, many nieces, nephews, and countless friends of which he treated as family.
