David B. Helms

David B. Helms, 81, of Monroe, NC passed away Thursday, June 3, 2021. He was born in Union County on June 5, 1939, son to the late David Henry Helms and Ruby Helms Williamson. He is also preceded in death by his grandson, Dusty D. Manus. A funeral service will be held at 2:00PM, Monday, June 7, 2021, at Lee Park Church, 2491 Morgan Mill Road, Monroe, NC 28110. The burial will follow in Lakeland Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service in the worship center, from 12:30PM until 1:45PM. David is survived by his loving wife, Ann Melton Helms, their two sons, Terry Helms and Tim Helms ( Brenda); all of Monroe, brother, James Huckabee (Barbara), two grandchildren, Nick Helms ( Fiancée Amelia Griffith), Brandi Nichole Manus.
