David Lee Hinson, 76, passed away Friday, November 20, 2020. He was born April 11, 1944 in Mecklenburg County, NC son of the late Edward Augustus & Pearl Whitley Hinson. He is also preceded in death by a brother Thomas Hinson. A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday November 28, 2020 at Ritch Family Cemetery, 6701 Indian Trail-Fairview Road. Indian Trail, NC 28079. David is survived by his loving wife Rita Williams Hinson, two sons; Mike Hinson and wife Judy, Steve Hinson and wife Kristen, three brothers; Gene Hinson, E.A. Hinson, and James Hinson, three sisters; Pearl Baker, Diane Rowell, and Mildred Dozier, three grandchildren; Skye Hinson, Ashley Hinson, and Hunter Hinson.
